The learning robot features built-in vision, which can be used as a bar code reader for confirmation of sample identification.
The system’s four-axis SCARA, or “selective compliance articulated robot arm,” increases the automatic workflow. Positioning can be achieved during teaching or integrating instruments with flexible arm reach, infinite rotation, and full gravity-neutral joints. The robot also supports a variety of third-party instruments and peripherals.
