February 11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (1). This day focuses on the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields and emphasizes the need to close gender gaps in STEM through supporting girls in targeted programs and promoting actions and policies surrounding inclusion.

In recognition of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, PharmTech will be interviewing industry experts on the innovations and successes women have achieved in the pharmaceutical industry. We will also be highlighting some recent news about notable CEOs, scientists, and innovators impacting the industry and improving patients’ lives.
