Waters Launches Liquid Chromatograph Featuring High-Performance Surface Technology

The Waters Acquity Premier Solution from Waters Corporation is a liquid chromatograph featuring Waters’ MaxPeak High Performance Surface technology, which works to improve analytical data quality and eliminate the need for passivation.

Used in combination with Acquity Premier Columns, the solution is formulated to ease the problem of analyte/metal surface interactions when analyzing organic acids, organophosphates, oligonucleotides, phosphopeptides, acidic glycans, and phospholipids by reversed phase and hydrophilic interaction chromatography. Additionally, the solution:

• Increases analyte recovery with 10–100X improvement in detection sensitivity for low-level phosphorylated and carboxylated analytes, reducing the risk of unseen analytes going undetected

• Produces sharper peak shapes and greater peak capacity for precise analyte identification and data interpretation
• Provides greater reproducibility for separations prone to adsorptive losses
• Simplifies the relocation of methods from site-to-site and from company-to-company
• Offers ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) performance for the analysis of metal-sensitive and non-metal-sensitive analytes.
